Presenting, 123Sauce's exclusive Vietnamese Dipping Sauce — called "NUOC MAM" (pronounced  "nwòk máam"), this dipping sauce is one of the most loved and embraced sauces of Vietnam. Made of anchovy extract, water, salt, sugar, and vinegar, the taste is a pleasurable mixture of light, sweet and salty. Vietnam is best-known for this characteristic sauce and we are proud to bring this much adored and good taste to you.

This traditional dipping sauce goes well with many dishes such as "Cho Giò" (Vietnamese Egg Rolls), "Bì Cuón & Goi Cuón" (Spring Rolls) and "Bánh Xèo" (Crispy Crepes). These are just a few of the many traditional dishes that cannot go without this sauce. Of course you can use this over rice on BBQ pork, chicken or fried fish. In addition, you can use this sauce on almost anything — fried rice, chow mein, or use it as dipping sauce for stir-fried dishes. Go ahead. Give it try. Explore your imagination.

Our sauce is ready to eat. Just pour it out into small saucer and enjoy.

Preparation Steps

Use a sharp cutlery knife and thinly slice beef. The slices need to be very thin in order for the dish to taste good. Pleas use caution. Once you have sliced the beef into thin slices, spread them over a dish as shown.

Chop half of the onion, mint and basil. Mix thoroughly in bowl along with 2-4 tablespoons to dress and the mixture well. Remember to shake the bottle well.

Pour the entire contents of the bowl on top of the thin slices of beef. Pour about 2-4 tablespoons evenly over the whole dish. You are done. Enjoy and Bon Appetit!
